Terms of Service for Zilla Auto Repair Shop

Welcome to Zilla Auto Repair Shop, located in Kingsland, Georgia. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our automotive repair, diagnostic, and maintenance services. By authorizing Zilla Auto Repair Shop to perform any service on your vehicle, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging Zilla Auto Repair Shop for any service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not authorize our services.
2. Services Provided
Zilla Auto Repair Shop provides professional automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance services for a wide range of vehicles. All services are performed by qualified technicians.
3. Authorization for Service
By authorizing services, the customer grants Zilla Auto Repair Shop and its employees permission to perform the requested repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on the specified vehicle. The customer also explicitly grants permission for Zilla Auto Repair Shop to operate the vehicle on public roads and highways for testing and diagnostic purposes as deemed necessary to complete the authorized services. All repairs will be performed in accordance with generally accepted industry standards.
4. Payment Terms
a. Due Upon Completion: All payments for services rendered, parts, and applicable taxes are due in full upon the completion of repairs and before the vehicle is released to the customer.
b. Financing Options: For customers utilizing our 'Finance Available' options, vehicle release is strictly subject to the final approval and funding confirmation from the third-party lender. Zilla Auto Repair Shop is not responsible for the approval or denial of credit by any third-party financing partner.
5. Vehicle Pickup & Storage
a. Grace Period: Customers are granted a five (5) business day grace period to pick up their vehicle following notification (via phone, SMS, or email) that the services are complete.
b. Storage Fees: Any vehicle remaining at Zilla Auto Repair Shop's facility after the five (5) business day grace period will be subject to a daily storage fee of $15.00 per day, calculated for each calendar day the vehicle remains on premises. These fees will accrue until the vehicle is picked up and all outstanding charges are paid.
6. Abandoned Vehicles & Mechanic's Liens
Pursuant to Georgia law, specifically O.C.G.A. § 40-11-19, any vehicle left with a repair facility for at least fifteen (15) days without payment for authorized services or storage fees may be considered abandoned. Zilla Auto Repair Shop reserves the right to foreclose a mechanic's lien on such vehicles in accordance with O.C.G.A. § 40-11-1 et seq. and other applicable Georgia laws to satisfy any and all unpaid repair, diagnostic, maintenance, and storage charges. The customer will be responsible for all costs associated with the lien process, including legal fees.
7. Communication & Privacy Policy
a. Data Collection: We collect necessary personal information, including but not limited to names, contact information (phone numbers, email addresses), and vehicle VINs (Vehicle Identification Numbers) for the sole purpose of performing the requested services, managing appointments, and communicating service updates.
b. Communications: By providing your contact information, you consent to receive appointment reminders and service updates via SMS (text message) and Email.
c. SMS Opt-Out: You may opt-out of SMS communications at any time by replying "STOP" to any message you receive from us. Standard message and data rates may apply.
d. Data Usage & Sharing: Your personal data is never sold to third parties. We only share personal data with third-party financing partners upon your explicit application for their services. Your data will only be shared with these partners for the purpose of facilitating your financing application.
e. Data Security: We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information, but no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
8. Limitation of Liability
Zilla Auto Repair Shop is not responsible for the loss of or damage to personal items, valuables, or accessories left inside vehicles undergoing service. Customers are strongly advised to remove all personal belongings, valuables, money, documents, or other items of value from their vehicle before leaving it with Zilla Auto Repair Shop for service. By authorizing service, you agree to this waiver of liability for personal items.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kingsland, Georgia.
10. Changes to Terms
Zilla Auto Repair Shop reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms on our premises or website. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
